Green Valley Ranch Farriers
These are two farriers that rent a shoeing shop from Green Valley Ranch. A ranch in Denton, TX known for their specialty in training Reining, a western horse sport, Quarter Horses. I was in TX a few weekends ago and while I was there took some photos of these guys. They’re training for a national horse shoeing competition. The competitors are judged based on their ability to create several different types of horse shoes within a given time. Speed and craftsmanship are key to their success.
